Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a session?
Call or text me directly at (914) 523-0116. Texting is preferred, since I'm often with a client and keep my ringer silenced — but I check messages between every session and typically respond within a few hours. Let me know your preferred day, session length, and location in Westchester County, and I'll confirm a time and come to you.
What areas do you serve?
I provide in-home massage therapy throughout Westchester County, NY, including Bronxville, Eastchester, Scarsdale, White Plains, Harrison, Chappaqua, Tarrytown, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, and Ardsley.
How much does a session cost?
Sessions start at $150 for 60 minutes or $200 for 90 minutes.
What's the difference between deep tissue and Swedish massage?
Swedish massage uses lighter, flowing strokes and is primarily focused on relaxation. Deep tissue massage uses firmer, targeted pressure to work into specific muscles and address chronic tension, old injuries, or restricted movement. My approach blends both, depending on what your body needs that day — some clients want a purely relaxing session, others need focused therapeutic work, and many want a mix of both.
What should I expect during my first in-home session?
I'll arrive with a professional massage table and everything needed for a full session, set up right in your home. We'll briefly talk through any problem areas, injuries, or goals before starting, then move into the session itself — typically deep tissue and myofascial work, adjusted to your comfort level throughout. First-time clients often say the biggest difference from a spa visit is how targeted and personalized the session feels.
What is your approach to deep tissue and myofascial release?
I use a method I call Lengthen, Release, and Lock It In — actively lengthening tight muscle fibers, releasing them from surrounding muscles they've been compensating with, and reinforcing that new range of motion so the relief lasts. You can read more about this approach on my dedicated methodology page.
Do you work with athletes?
Yes — I have extensive experience with tennis, golf, pickleball, and platform tennis players, as well as clients managing chronic tension from desk work or old injuries. Sessions are tailored to what your body needs, whether that's serious athletic recovery work or simply a great massage to unwind.
Is this a spa massage?
No — this is real therapeutic deep tissue and myofascial work, delivered in your home rather than a spa setting. No waiting room, no generic routine — just focused, personalized bodywork.
